When to use reg-under lines

---

You only need to use reg-under lines when the reg and reg-to drawings use different color inks, so you can control which color of ink shows where lines cross.

Use reg-under ink only when:

• A line from the reg-to drawing crosses a line from the reg drawing, and:

• The lines use different ink colors, and:

• The reg-to line needs to appear beneath the line from the reg drawing.

Otherwise, use reg-over ink - which is the default. If the lines are different colors, the reg-to line will correctly appear above the reg line; if the lines are the same color, it doesn't matter which is on top, so you save unnecessary work.
